For the Air Jordan 7, Tinker decided to utilize Nike Huarache technology, which he felt would make for a better fit, allowing the shoes to conform to the wearer. At the same time, he also removed a lot, including the visible air unit, translucent outsole which turned yellow after a while, and most importantly, the Nike Air logo.
